London Fashion Week:

Dresses from Paul Costelloe and Maria Grachvogel Spring Summer 2011
London Fashion Week kicked off today with a selection of designers who served up a mouth-watering rainbow of spring colours and fabrics. The colourful creations included a short, metallic, weaved dress by Paul Costelloe, described as “Tinkerbell-turned-party girl”, with flirty hems hiked up to mid-thigh and worn with metallic biker-jackets. Minimalist dresses and cat-suits by Maria Grachvogel were printed with vivid hand-painted images of huge moths and wolves on draped silk satins and semi-sheer crepes. There were more silk prints, this time from Caroline Charles, in a floral 1950s style, with matching gloves of varying lengths. The overall effect – glamorous and effortlessly chic.

We thought we’d bring you our favourites designers, shows, front row celeb sightings, models, parties and moments from each city, as we say goodbye to Fashion Week (well, until February 2011)! We started with the best of New York Fashion Week Spring 2011, and today we bring you the best of London Fashion Week Spring 2011.
